Jeff Miller, Construction Field Supervision

Faculty PhotoHello my name is Jeff Miller and I will be the online instructor for the Construction Field Supervision courses.  I was born and raised in Tioga, ND.  I earned a certificated of completion in Carpentry in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Education 2003.  I am finishing my Masters degree in Construction Management from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. 

I have over 14 + years of various experience in the construction industry most of which has been spent in Supervisory/Management.  The cell phone and the computer have radically changed the construction management industry and is a vital part of the business. The computer has become one of the most important tools in the industry.  The use of e-mail and other programs for documentation, communication, planning and scheduling, estimating has made huge strides in the last ten years and will continue to do so.   This program is a comprehensive hands-on program.  No need to worry you will become very familiar and confident in using the computer. 

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and hunting.  I am an avid follower of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.  My wife of 8 years and I currently live in Belle Plaine, MN.
