Ryan Langemeier , Construction Field Supervision

Faculty PhotoMy name is Ryan Langemeier. I reside in Mankato with my wife and two boys.  We moved to Minnesota in 1996 from Nebraska, “Go Big Red”. Our first move to MN we barely crossed the boarder, landed in Austin. We lived there for four years and in 2000 left Austin for Mankato.

We occasionally make it back to Nebraska, to visit parents, relatives or to catch a football or baseball game at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, my alma mater.

We recently added a new family member, Talkeetna (Tally) a purebred Samoyed dog. Tally loves the cold (as do we) and enjoys the quiet walks out in the snow.

Hockey, with two boys, keeps us busy. We know where the locations of practically every hockey rink in Minnesota and enjoy the sport.

I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study architecture and received my Bachelor’s degree as well as my Masters in Architecture. Throughout the years, I have worked in various architectural firms first as an intern and then as registered architect.

While working in Mankato, I had the opportunity to teach interior design and construction management courses at MSU-Mankato. I have completed my Doctorate in Education from Capella University. I have also taught at the Art Institute of Minneapolis and assisted (subject matter expert) in the course design Construction Design Communication for EDMC-South University.

With a passion for design, construction management and teaching, I am looking forward to instructing courses within the Construction Field Supervision program.
