Nikki Jacobs, Medical Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomy
Hello! I am Nikki Jacobs, an instructor in the Medical Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomy Programs at South Central College. I have worked in the medical laboratory profession for 30+ years. During my career, I have worked as staff medical technologist in three hospitals and a blood bank, managed the laboratory of a medical clinic, and provided technical consultation for the clinic laboratories of a large health care system.
I have two degrees in medical technology: a Bachelor’s degree from Winona State University and a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
I am looking forward to partnering with you as your instructor as you pursue an exciting career as a phlebotomist or a medical laboratory technician.
