Meet Your Instructor
Jane Greathouse, Psychology
Jane is an instructor in Liberal Arts and Sciences at South Central College .
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Women's Studies from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She recieved a Master of Arts degree in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California. Her academic areas of interest include: social psychology, prejudice and discrimination, and gender issues.
Prior to teaching, Jane worked in the government sector as an institutional researcher for South Central College and Arrowhead Regional Corrections. Jane has also worked as a personnel analyst specializing in recruitment and selection.
On a personal note, Jane has a 3-year old daughter, Olivia, who keeps her very busy! Jane also loves to garden. Her husband thinks it is odd that her idea of relaxation is moving rocks and dirt around the yard!
