Meet Your Instructor

Kirstin Cronn-Mills, English

Faculty PhotoKirstin Cronn-Mills has taught at South Central College since 1999, but has been teaching at the college level since 1992. She taught at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Iowa State University, the Concordia School of Accelerated Learning, and St. Olaf before beginning her position at SCC. She holds a BA and MA in English (literature and creative writing), and a Ph.D. in rhetoric and professional communication. She teaches English and humanities classes. She believes SCC is the best-kept public secret in southern Minnesota and teaching here has been her favorite job of all time, except for when she worked at the Dairy Queen in Lake Crystal.

She lives in North Mankato with her husband, Dan, a professor of speech communication at MSU,M, and her son, Shae.
