Is online learning right for you?
SmarterMeasure (formerly known as READI) is an indicator tool available to South Central College students to help them in deciding if online learning is a good fit for them.
SmarterMeasure graphically presents survey results with a dashboard. Students can easily view their readiness levels in learning style, academic personal attributes, reading rate and recall, technical competency and knowledge, and typing speed and accuracy.
SmarterMeasure is a diagnostic tool to measured sets of traits, skills, and knowledge of the learner to identify how well they are prepared for taking an online course.
To take the SmarterMeasure assessment, use the following information:

Once you have completed your SmarterMeasure assessment, download a copy of your assessment results in a PDF format. You may be asked to provide this information to your instructor.

** In addition to the online classes these programs require attendance in scheduled “on-site” laboratory experiences. Hours and location can be coordinated (to some degree) for the convenience of each student. Please discuss this requirement with your advisor to ensure you can successfully complete the program.
